Product Description:
Corrosion resistance: The density of aluminum profiles is only 2.7g/cm3, about one-third of the density of steel, copper or brass (7.83g/ cm3, 8.93g/ cm3). Aluminum exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in most environmental conditions, including air, water (or brine), petrochemical, and many chemical systems. Electrical conductivity: Aluminum profiles are often chosen for their excellent electrical conductivity. The electrical conductivity of aluminum is nearly half that of copper, weight equal. Thermal conductivity: The thermal conductivity of aluminum alloys is about 50-60% of that of copper, which is good for heat exchangers, evaporators, heating appliances, cooking appliances, as well as cylinder heads and radiators for automobiles. Non-ferromagnetic: Aluminum profiles are non-ferromagnetic, an important property for the electrical and electronics industries. Aluminum profiles are non-flammable, which is important for applications involving handling or contact with flammable and explosive materials. Machinability: the machinability of aluminum profile is excellent. The machining characteristics of various deformed and cast aluminum alloys, as well as the various states in which these alloys are produced, vary considerably, requiring special machine tools or techniques. Formability: Specific tensile strength, yield strength, ductility, and corresponding rate of work hardening govern the variation in allowable deformation. Recoverability: Aluminum is extremely recyclable and the properties of recycled aluminum are almost indistinguishable from those of primary aluminum.
